Biology Fragrances exists to reframe what scent can be. For too long, aromatherapy lived on the margins, either overly clinical or confined to a narrow, niche audience. We saw an opportunity to bring it forward, to make it relevant, wearable, and part of everyday life.
Our approach is simple: We believe fragrance can do more than smell good. It can shift mood, restore balance, and move with you throughout the day. Every formula is built with intention.
We use clean, consciously selected ingredients that are free from parabens, phthalates, and endocrine disruptors, so you can engage with scent without compromise. We do not position natural and synthetic as opposites, but as a choice. Biology exists to give that choice back to the consumer, with transparency and clarity.
This is aromatherapy, modernized.

About the founder
I was raised in a cultural environment where success followed a defined path, doctor, lawyer, stability. But I was drawn elsewhere. I chose to create.
That choice shaped everything.
Over the past decade, I have worked on and helped build some of the world’s most recognized brands. Biology is the first time I have applied that thinking to something entirely my own, where concept, design, and product are fully aligned.
To me, fragrance is design. It is composition, balance, and contrast. It is layering notes the same way you would layer color, texture, or form. It is about tension and harmony, knowing when to push and when to refine.
More than that, it is emotional.
I experience the world through feeling, through environments, through sound, through scent. A space, a memory, a moment can shift everything. Biology is an attempt to capture that and translate emotion into something tangible, something you can carry with you.
Thank you,
Steve Sun
