Neroli: A randomized study of 63 postmenopausal women reported increased sexual desire ratings after five days of neroli oil inhalation compared with an almond oil control.¹

Vanilla: A study across diverse cultures ranked vanillin, a key vanilla aroma compound, as the most pleasant of ten odors tested. It measured scent preference, not attraction or arousal.²

Tuberose: A preliminary animal study reported changes in mating behavior and reproductive hormones after administration of tuberose oil, suggesting possible aphrodisiac activity. Effects on human desire or responses to its scent have not been established.³

Mystery draws its inspiration from Wong Kar Wai’s cinematic masterpiece,In The Mood For Love, a film steeped in sensuality, longing, and unspoken desire. The narrative of two star-crossed lovers navigating the delicate tension of forbidden love is echoed in this fragrance. We sought to capture the film's smoky, atmospheric mood with the deep, resinous notes of Cade wood, evoking the billows of smoke that linger throughout the film.
