Bergamot: A study involving 41 healthy women reported improvements in negative mood and fatigue following bergamot essential oil inhalation.¹

Patchouli: A randomized trial involving 50 emergency nurses reported lower stress and greater satisfaction from caring for others following patchouli oil inhalation compared with a control oil.²

Cedarwood constituent: A study involving 26 adults found that inhaling isolated cedrol produced physiological changes consistent with relaxation. These findings concern cedrol, not whole cedarwood oil.³
